Halloween is a big celebration in our nook of the neighborhood. Actually... as you will soon learn after reading through all of our posts... we pretty much had a Halloween WEEK!
***
Auntie Laura came up to see the girls in costume, to take them to the kid party across the street, and to go trick-or-treating! She seriously is one of the best aunties EVER!

The kid party was lots of fun. I am actually really surprised Malia dug around in the nasty 'guts' to find the bugs!

You will have to look on my Facebook to see all of the creative, wild and crazy costumes that appeared Halloween night, but this was my favorite! All of the kids were in tears any time Gavin was around. It was kind of sad because he wasn't allowed to wear his costume during the kid party because it scared all of the kids!
Trick-or-Treat! Malia refused to say 'trick-or-treat' or 'thank you' at every door. But, let me tell you. The minute that door closed and the stranger went back inside, Malia would say 'more trick-or-treats... more candy!' What a goof!

Candy! Funny story. If you remember from a previous post, Malia was having problems making it to the toilet for #2. We started the reward system again, and Malia gets 'one poop candy' every time she goes on the toilet. So to Malia she had lots and lots of poop candy. "Mama... Malia eat when go poopy in the potty next day, right? Yay!" - this seriously is what she said.

Our costumes were pretty awesome. It was all Aaron's idea. They are a little crude, but you have to admit that they are incredibly creative and clever too! It's late, so scroll down and read how our costumes came about if you don't live in the area or know about the 'acid attack hoax'. I must say that my darkest eye shadow did a pretty good job at coloring me black!

Happy Halloween! Thanks everyone for making it so much fun!
