Trick-or-Treat!

We had so much fun celebrating Malia's first Halloween! We dressed Malia up in her beautiful princess costume, which was very much the opposite of what she wore to the Halloween party last week, and headed out to show her off to friends and fam!

Our first stop for the day was to visit Grandpa (Aaron's Dad) at work to wish him a very Happy Birthday. On the way, I couldn't help but take lots of pictures of Malia since she looked so cute! These pictures seem to showcase perfectly our most favorite feature: her big blue eyes.

Grandpa was very surprised to see us; however, he was a bit embarrassed by the large balloon... Apparently he was trying to "lay low" and no one was really suppose to know it was his birthday. Oops. Happy Birthday Grandpa!

Next we were off to visit Nana (my mom) at the pharmacy. My mom LOVES to show off Malia. Unfortunately, it wasn't the most exciting visit ever since we were there to pick up some VERY expensive lotion that will supposedly "zap" the rest of Aaron's cancer away.

We couldn't leave Malia's other grandma out of the fun! Before heading home we stopped by Alki and caught Grandma during her lunch. It was perfect timing!

When Daddy went off to work, Malia and I returned home for a much needed nap, and then got the front porch ready for the Trick-or-Treaters.

This year we had less trick-or-treaters than we have had in the past (which was a bummer because I spent a lot of time making the front porch spooky), but we did get a visit from "not really" uncle Aaron, and Malia had a lot of fun playing with his silly "mad scientist" mustache.

What a busy day!!! All in all, it was a very Happy Halloween! We can't wait to have even more fun next year when Malia can walk with us door to door and actually Trick-or-Treat!
