WOW... life has just been crazy!
We have been really busy combating Aaron's skin cancer. He had his second surgery on Thursday, and will have what will hopefully be his last this coming Monday. It was really disappointing to find that they were unsuccessful at removing all of the melanoma during his first surgery. Apparently it is taking up a lot of surface area on his right cheek but fortunately, they have found that the melanoma is not too deep to require chemo/radiation therapy. He will need extensive plastic surgery to fix the damage, but the surgeon did say that when everything is healed up, he will be thankful for the scars no matter how large they are; at least he is still alive! Thank you so much for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers... we are trying to hang in there!
